This problem only happens at fail-save lock (magnet lock and electric bolt lock), because electromagnetic lock do not have unlock signal, engineer can only use power-off [Relay: NC/COM] to open the door, which cause

 

1)        Connect a relay module which is installed out of the controller.

2)        Add one more capacitor on the relay NC/COM points.

 

Notice:

Fail-secure lock => Product is electric strike lock. When the power is turned off, , the door will be locked. This is used for warehouse.

 

Fail-save lock => Products are magnet lock and electric bolt lock. When the power is turned off, the door will be unlocked. This is used for public space. Depends on customer’s requirement, you can choose UPS to prevent unexpected condition after power off.
